Among the delightful people we've met along our journey is the gorgeous Kristy from Sisken... this graphic designer turned bag fashionista creates the most beautiful leather bags for every purpose in colours that you'll be drooling over. We were very excited when Kristy asked us earlier in the year if she could use some koolaman designs in the photo shoot for her latest look book. We were even more excited when we saw the results of her hard work. These bags are a must have in any girls wardrobe... And except for a piece from from koolaman designs, these would have to be the perfect christmas present.

The Montgomery Tote - in Red!
ReplyDeleteWith my youngest turning 3, we're ready to ditch the pram and the nappy bag! Unfortunately my dream of travelling unencumbered has proven false, still needing to carry around large quantities of supplies (wipes, spare undies, water bottles...) for my daughters. The Montgomery Tote looks fabulous, the strap is versatile, and nobody needs to know what I would be carrying around inside!

PS. The Tarlee looks fabulous too!
The "Savannah" in cherry would be my bag of choice! How stunning and fabulous it would look over my shoulder!

Tough Call - I'd be happy to own ANY of them, but:
ReplyDeleteBronte Clutch Bag would be my choice.
Since having my first baby i seem to lose EVERYTHING ... keys ... and phone ... and brain!!
This bag would keep all my nessesities neatly together to just "GRAB" as we make the made dash out the door everyday.
Fantastic.

What a beautiful range, but the Montgomery in milk would be my first choice, so versatile and stylish - I love it! Samm
ReplyDeletethe Helsinki Workbag for me! Would fit in everything I need and still look fab.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous range, well done Kristy.
I would love the San Fransico Shoulder Bag in Honey it has a vintage look to it which i love..hard choice though as they all fantastic and such great size's no matter what the occasion.
ReplyDeletewozsam@dodo.com.au
As a Mum of four the Savannah Handbag (Milk) is what I would like hanging on my shoulder and looks very stylish and practical. Amanda

Oh Wow, I have never seen this range of bags before. Gorgeous SISKEN!
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough choice between Chennai Shoulder Bag, Savannah Handbag and Tuscan Overnighter.
Just for something different I will choose the Tuscan Overnighter. Gotta look good when travelling, or just having an overnighter with the girls :)
Luxembourg Satchel in red. Why? 3 children so I need to be hands-free and carry all the things a mum needs, but still be able to reach all 3 (especially a two year old with a fondness for running in shopping centres). Like many other mums, I've made lots of sacrifices, so it would be nice to have something with style that is practical, rather than only practical.
ReplyDeleteOhh what stunning bags! I now know I need a chocolate San Remo Satchel ! This satchel bag would be perfect for work and play. The perfect accessory for me to maintain my professionalism at work, but super stylish enough to take with me to dinner. Now that I have seen this bag, I feel the need to toss out my current tatty vinyl satchel as it just doesn't compare!
ReplyDeleteGlenda
It was very hard to choose just one-I LOVE the whole range. The Tuscan Overnighter in Espresso is my favourite and will definately be on my Christmas wish list. Thank you for sharing the link koolamandesigns.
ReplyDeletephilandleah@aussieb.com.au
A Tarlee for Turlee!?...Too spooky!
ReplyDeleteThe Savannah in Milk would have to be my favourite though!
Great post Lisa, love the Sisken range.

The Luxembourg Satchel in red (or maybe black...it's hard too choose!) would be great for me. Always losing stuff in my bag, so a few organised sections sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI know its in the Mens range but I love the San Remo Satchel. It looks casual enough when wearing blue jeans and a blazer, but also classy enough for work.
ReplyDeleteI like so many but to choose one - the New York Clutch for me, licorice stone or milk. Perfect size for the essentials when going out, and just looks beautiful and elegant.
ReplyDeleteclarecurran@hotmail.com
These bags look sensational, not only are they stylish but they look ever so practical. Now that I don't need to be carrying around bottles, nappies and other toddler items, I am free to carry around something that I'd like for me. The Savannah in Honey would be my choice. A great handbag for everyday, great size for my essentials and ok every now and then maybe the husband's keys, wallet and sunnies :)
ReplyDeleteHas to be the classic San Francisco Shoulder Bag in stone.
ReplyDeleteWow what a stunning Range.... Chennai shoulder bag in Red... very classy style that would make me feel like a woman with a handbag not a mummy with a nappy bag!
ReplyDeletecassie_booth@yahoo.com
I love the Tuscan Overnighter in Milk. It's uber stylish and perfect for small trips away.
ReplyDeleteThe Montgomery Tote is just divine, it is so hard to find a large bag that doesn't look like an o/nighter...... plus having one strap is perfect...trying to keep two straps on your shoulder whilst dealing with young children drives me insane! I also love the fact that it can go across the body, having a free hand or two is a fabulous idea.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bags ladies.
How good does your jewellery look when teamed with Kristy's gorgeous bags. They were made for each other. I absolutely love the Savannah handbag. The leathers look so soft and the style would compliment day or night, weekends, holidays, beach and work. Your jewellery is so clean and uncomplicated in this age of bling and baubles. Just love it. ReplyDeleteI love seeing both at Magnolia Square each time! You all have beautiful products. My fave Sisken design is the Helsinki Workbag. So gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the Tarlee Tote in Tan, with 2 young girls and another baby on the way, "the bigger the bag the better" :) and this is gorgeous and stylish....I must say i struggled to pick a fav! Such beautiful bags and purses.
ReplyDeleteDefinately the San Remo Satchel, gorgeous color and a great size for all the roles one has to play as mum, student, worker. With four children this bag would have to be one that is the most versatile for adapting to each role I have, whilst looking great for all of them. It is so nice to see gorgeous bags that will fit lap tops but don't look like a boring laptop bag. Fantastic (love the shoes too)
ReplyDeletelettyanne@tpg.com.au
The Santorini Satchel in red is divine! I travel to Melbourne a lot with two kids (18 mths & 5)for Hospital visits and need a bag that holds everthing we need for the day so I can have my hands free - from carrying my young one on the plane to easily finding their medication at mealtimes. It is such a beautiful bag but is uncomplicated at the same time! Love it Love it Love it!

I've been known to visit the Sisken website to just look and drool... My vintage-loving retro side covets the San Francisco shoulder bag in cherry for its art deco fabulousness, but the realist in me knows I'd need the perfectly formed Savannah in stone for all its handy pockets and delicious curves.

I am in love with my Kirov Ballet Slippers by Sisken. Bought them at Magnolia Square Malvern and wear them every day since. Perfect to dress up or wear casual and when caring my 9 month baby I don’t have to worry about the ground like I did in my heels. Oh so comfortable too.

oo.. it's not easy. i love the tarlee tote & it's probably the best choice for me at the mo to fit normal handbag stuff plus a few nappies & a wipes case for outings with my 2 little people, but i think my absolute favourite is the san francisco shoulder bag.. i just love the 3 petal design (that's what i'm calling it anyway). it has a gorgeous vintage feel to it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Kristy for creating these beautiful and gorgeous bags.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite bag is the St Lucia bag as it is a simple everyday bag which a mother of 2 anklebiters will appreciate. As a mother, we do not have time to fiddle or scrum around a very big bag looking for the car keys or a dummy that may well be at the bottom of the big heap of a bag.
Those pockets on the outside will make life easier and convenient for a parent who especially can't take their eyes of the kids (if they are in a carpark or shopping centre)
I would choose black as the colour as it will hide those grubby little dirty finger marks well.
Good luck to all the entrants. :)

Oh wow, what a beautiful collection.
ReplyDeleteFor me it would be the tuscan overnighter - I always have bags for my boys, and my husband has his backpack but I have never managed to get a bag for myself! Would be very handy and make you feel just a little bit 'posh' as well!
Cheers

Hi, Simply stunning - you should be very proud!
ReplyDeleteI immediately fell in love with the Savannah handbag in Licorice and would be a very lucky lady to be able to hang that delicious bag on my shoulder! Oh and my daughter's name is Savannah so I simply can't go wrong here!! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
Best wishes,
Jess

Oh wow, what a beautiful range of leather products and the handbags are all a girls dream :)
ReplyDeleteAfter 3 kids and 9 years of nappy bags and back packs, I am loving the look of the St Lucia bag...beautiful, elegant, modern and stylish...everything a girl looks for in a hndbag...and one to definitely get people talking (like my Mia Koolaman pendant). I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what you talented ladies are doing with women's fashion accessories.
Well done and thankyou on such beautiful products!

Love the Santorini Satchel. Simple, Stylish and practical....I wear loads of corporate black so the fun 'cherry' colour would be a striking standout, sure to gain comments from admirers. On weekends can throw a couple of nappies in and wipes if dashing out and about to the shops with the kids.
ReplyDeleteraquel_lindner@hotmail.com
What a fantastic giveaway and such a stunning range of every occasion bags. I love them all but my favourite has to be the San Remo Satchel in Chocolate. Being a mum of 3 boys this would be ideal as I always have a collection of matchie cars, thomas trains or rubber bugs within my handbag and this would be perfect size wise and also so I have my hands free. Thanks and love your site Katrina Dunn
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Helsinki Workbag. Would be perfect for for me for when I go away. For everyday use I am also loving the Montgomery Tote for when out and about with my 3 little ones. The hardest decision would be which colour to choose, they are all gorgeous. Thankyou for a lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeletest.lucia tote in tan. Imagine having a bag that was casual, stylish, gorgeous and not a nappy bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Am in the market now for a handbag, 3 babies it's nearly time for something for me....you've got me thinking Sisken..............

The Montgomery in milk is my choice. As a busy mum of 4 children all under the age of eight this bag looks great to fit in all those extra little thing I need to take with me when out and about.

I love the Tarlee Tote! I have sported my Oroton tote for two years. It is about the same size but much plainer. I think it is time for a new one and milk would go with everything!
ReplyDeleteAmanda amandajanefox@hotmail.com
The Helsinki Workbag in cherry red for sure. I have so many things to carry around and this bag has all the pockets I need for it all. The bonus is that it looks so stylish and does not look like a work bag at all.
ReplyDeleteCheers

I'm instantly in love with San Francisco Shoulder Bag, perfectly suited to what I'd want for myself.
ReplyDeletegreat timing! I have recently been thinking I need to update my current handbag.
ReplyDeleteWith a 4, 2 2/3 & 15mth old I only every wear over the shoulder bags. I love the simplicity and style of the bronte clutch bag - just gorgeous.
The St Lucia bag - simple, practical, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA modern classic?
