  1. For the man in my life the Banjo would be my first choice. My husband deserves some beautiful man-bling as he works tirelessly for both our family and our community at large. His work as a country paramedic doesn't allow him to wear excess jewellery so this has reduced how much jazzy accessories he owns over the years. I would love to surprise him with these gifts for his birthday in october, thanks! Jude quennyboy@hotmail.com

  2. My husband loves cufflinks - he collects them more than anyone I know! I would love to get the Henry cufflinks with our childrens name and date of births on them. Pigeon Pair for the most amazing father.

  3. I would love the William cufflinks for my husband. They are a clasic design and our first born son is named William so he would love them also

  4. Gus would be my choice for my lovely husband. He likes wearing the bands as male jewellery & I think would be touched to be able to add our sons names to one to wear all the time. He is also a paramedic & limited in what jewellery he is able wear. A dress shirt isn't often required so to be able to wear a keepsake with our sons names on them that he would wear with pride every day not just on special occasions he would love. Working shiftwork he misses seeing our children some mornings & nights or if working away, a keepsake such as this would keep them with him always.

  7. I would pick NED from the hide collection, for my dear husband Dino! He is an a amazing father and a wonderful husband and works very hard to try and keep us afloat, sometimes doing 7days but thats how he is, he makes the most of everything its the small things that count, his little boys cherish him for those moments! <3

  8. My husband and I were married on 6 November 2012 after 15 years to the date of engagement. He is not one for "man bling" hence does not wear his wedding ring. I like the "Ned" from the Hide Collection. I think that it is very "manly" and my husband would wear it as it would not come across to him as being jewellery. What a great way for him to display our commitment to each other.

  12. Dale already has the Mama dog tags with our daughters names on them...it would be a hard decision of which piece to buy next. We are loving the newest range of leather products you have at the moment! The Hide collection is very cool, and funky i reckon i would borrow the Gus from time to time if Dale had one! I also like the idea of the William cufflinks, a gentle reminder of our family while he is at work! You girls make beautiful products and you are an inspiration to mums! xx

  15. I can see the Gus on my beautiful hubbys wrist. Like all the papas above he works hard to support our family and give me the opportunity to be at home most of the time with our little boys, its a wonderful gift that I can never thank him enough for. He misses his little guys so much and I know he'd love to wear a band with 'Cil & Remi' stamped on it to remind him of his little loves while he's off at work.

  16. The Gus (hide collection cuff) is what I would pick for my husband. Although I love cufflinks, they wouldn't get the chance to be worn half as much, as he's a fireman so doesn't wear dress shirts daily. I have just recently been given the Isobel pendant with both my children's names and dates of birth and think that if he had the Gus cuff with the same details, the stamped pendants would match perfectly and it would be something he would actually wear.
    Thank you

My hubby is a tradie and doesn't wear jewellery at all, but he does wear cufflinks for special occasions and I know how proud he would be to display our children's names at my brothers upcoming wedding :) He does so much for us and I just want to do something special. 19. Definitely Gus as a gift for my husband for Father's day. I would love to have our children's names added as there are so many pieces for women but so few for men. It would mean so much to him as our daughter passed away and the Gus bracelet would give him the chance to wear BOTH of our children's names with him everyday. He misses her and remembers her constantly. I would love to be able to give him such a heartfelt gift as he is the best father to both our children.

I love the gus, it would be a lovely gift for him to have while he is away and can think of his girls.

PS he thinks he could make one himself, I'd love him to win so i can prove your stuff is better than he could make himself tinkering in his back shed!!

Get competition but if Im not lucky enough Im sure you will be recieving another order soon.

  28. I think my husband would probably prefer the cufflinks (not that he wears dress shirts often), but since we have only just had our first son on 4th August, it would be funny having just his name on both cufflinks, so I would prefer the Gus band. I'm sure I could convince him to wear it (especially if it was a reminder of Ben!). It would make a perfect first father's day present!

Something special & meaningful for him to wear on our wedding/daughter's christening day! My fiancé is such an amazing person. He does so much for our girls & I that words just can't describe. 36. I love the Henry cufflinks. My babies father and I have had a rocky relationship for 4 yrs next month. Our wee girl is 2 next month, too! On 08 09 10. I was told I couldn't have babies without IVF so she was a huge wonderful surprise.

When I first met him he wore polo shirts and board shorts- which I loved. Then for Christmas once I got him a pair of cufflinks (ctrl and esc, like typewriter keys) as he's a web developer, and he has worn suits ever since. Those cufflinks are nearly 2 years old and are broken unfortunately, so I would love to surprise him with some new ones.

We are going to do counselling and figure out new ways to improve our relationship, for good this time, so these would signify the start of something wonderful. On one cufflink would be "08 09 10" and the other would be "19 09 08" which is when we met :)

  53. I would love to give the GUS to the father of my son Max, as also love of my life & best friend, Samuel. I am fortunate enough to be currently waiting for my JULIA pendant to arrive.. (absolutely SOOOOOO EXCITED about it!!) I have wanted a Koolaman for as long as they have advertised in parenting magazines & was always going to buy myself one for my 40th, which was in May. It has "Sam" on it & also Bella(97) & Max (08). Sam & I met at our kid's pre-school 10yrs ago as of 30th July this year. It would be a great way to celebrate our anniversary & also to say THANKYOU for EVERYTHING!!.. I have a chronic back & neck injury/pain condition from a garage door falling on me many yrs ago.. Sam had to take 3 years off work as I was unable to lift Maxy. Sam never complains about having to do all the chores etc & has always been incredibly supportive. If I gave him the GUS it would match my JULIA & be a way to connect us - we aren't married & don't have wedding rings.. He could put my, Max & his eldest's (Hillel) name stamped on the GUS & it would also be a great symbol of our love & commitment. Alex (alexxjulia@hotmail.com)

I'm always stuck for things to buy him and HE says I'm terrible at buying gifts but it's only because I like to buy things with meaning. I hate pointless gifts. This would be something to cherish forever and pass on in years to come. 57. I write this post on behalf of my two year old son, as he would be delighted to give his father the ‘Gus’ with his name stamped on it. My son and his father do not live together. My son and I live in Sydney; and my son’s father, Eric, lives five hours away on a farm near Dubbo. Eric loves his son; however he is not able to see him as regularly as he would like, so a personalised gift that Eric can wear all of the time, as a constant reminder of the little boy he adores, would be very special.

In addition to this Eric has grown up on the land, as have many generations in his family. He is a grazier who owns and runs a large sheep and cattle farm; so the fact that the ‘Gus’ is made from Australian kangaroo hide and that Koolaman products are made in the bush, would make the gift even more meaningful and appreciated.

My son, ‘L’, would love to give his dad such a unique Father’s Day present.

  65. The William cufflinks would be perfect for my husband. He works so hard so that I can stay at home with our four month old son for as long as possible. As a result, he doesn't see all that much of our Little One during the week. I know my husband quietly laments over this, as he absolutely adores our son - his face lights up at the smallest 'goo' or 'gaa'; however, he is not begrudging at all. I am very lucky and this is why I'd love to be able to give back. My husband works in a profession where cufflinks are a 'must' as far as attire goes. I know it would brighten up his highly stressful day to look down and see our son's name.

  68. The gus would the perfect pressie for fathers day for my wonderful hasband, and daddy to our precious daughter. he was my pillar of strength through 10 cycles of IVF, always there to hold my hand, wipe away my tears and give me all the support that a girl could wish for as we tried to have the baby we both wanted so desperately, then when finally did get pregnant he was sooo excited and is now an exceptional dad to our beautiful girl. He is besotted with her and she adores him, every day he tells me how lucky he feels to have us both in his life. he works so hard in our business too, and misses her terribly when he has to work late and doesn't get to see her at night before bed, so i know he would adore a piece with her name on it to look down at whilst he works. It would also be a great way to show him just how much we love him and all he has done for us both.

  69. We would love to be able to give my husband (Mark) the 'banjo'. i asked my kids (4yrs, 2yrs and NB) 'Do you think Daddy would like to have this with your names on it?...that way you will always be with daddy where ever he goes". Their response "yes mum". Mum "why do you think he would like it to wear it?" kids "because mum, he loves us". It always amazes me how children can say the most powerful statements...simple & raw honesty. (nik_fav@hotmail.com)

  71. My Favourite piece for a guy is definitely from the new Hide Collection - The Banjo to be precise. These pieces are all strong, masculine pieces, allowing a male to proudly display his love for his children and family at all times.
Being the owner of a fabulous Koolaman piece myself, I would definitely gift this to my husband, as I think it only fair that he be able to have his children with him wherever he goes (I know everytime I touch my Koolaman during the day I remember how much I love my children..)

  72. Wow I so love your new Hide range, that I must admit I'm tempted to get something for myself!

My favourite piece for my husband would have to be the Ned. It is quite a classic, relaxed looking piece, with just enough edge that he could wear it everyday in an office environment and easily wear it with his casual clothing too. That said, the William cufflinks are gorgeous too - something he would definitely wear every business day of the week!

As a Father and Husband that works very long hours, travels quite a bit; a Koolaman piece with his girls names, will be a lovely reminder that the hard work is worth it.

  73. To celebrate the birth of our long-awaited first child just 6 weeks ago, I would love to give my wonderful husband the GUS cuff for his first ever Fathers day! As a tough "tradie" he actually does love the opportunity to dress up when not at work, & I think our beautiful sons name on the cuff would be worn with such love & pride. I could nearly steal it for myself too, I love it!

  74. Jules and Banjo are my favourites from your new hide collection. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful husband who is also my best friend and our children have the best father on earth. He works so hard to provide us with a wonderful lifestyle and to give our children opportunities that we could only dream of at their ages. Our daughter, Thai sponsor son and I all have Koolaman pendents with our whole family's names on them so Jules would reflect our pieces beautifully. But if I am honest I think Banjo is more suited to my husband - its understated and yet looks great. It would still fit all our names on too. My daughter and I regularly go over to Thailand to work in the orphanages where our sponsor son lives - this year - in just 3 weeks time - my husband will be accompanying me to work in the orphanages for the first time. This has been a passion for our daughter and I for five years and now it's wonderful to see my husband getting involved. We have just recently held a fundraiser to raise funds to help build a new orphanage for 40 HIV+ children (including our sponsor son) and my husband has not only supported us through out our fundraising frenzy but is now arranging what work he can do while we are at the orphanages that will truly make a difference in the lives of these children. So not only is he an absolute inspiration to me and our children but now he is also inspiring people across the globe!

  75. I would love to win the Henry cufflinks for my wonderful husband John. He is the most generous, kind loving husband and a divine father. As a father of four- he has always supported, loved and doted on our kids! My son Michael was born with Down Syndrome 19 years ago, and from the second the doctor told us his diagnosis, John has been my rock!!! Life has been difficult for Michael at times, but John just copes with such devotion and care.... He has made sure we want for nothing, and I just wish I could repay him for his unwavering love. Thank you for this opportunity . I have many of your pieces , I would love John to share my love for your designs. Kind regards, Mary-Rose

  76. The Finn would be my choice for my wonderful hubby. I have my very treasured Alice pendant with our 4 boys names on it and I think he would love a piece to remind him of our boys. It would nake a great present for our 15th wedding anniversary later this year.

  77. When I saw your new “hide” collection
Upon opening my email last Friday,
I got so excited and thought to myself
“I’m going to choose an awesome gift for him this Father’s Day!!”

Because year upon year it’s a struggle,
To find the perfect gift to mark special days,
And I would dearly love for my husband to open his gift
    And be totally, utterly amazed!!

Just as others have mentioned about their men,
    My husband works hard providing for his wife and son;
Leaving early and arriving home late,
Never ceasing until the work’s done.

    And despite being sleep deprived,
He always makes time for the important things:
That special time with our son spent reading stories,
Taking walks, playing soccer, and riding the swings.

We are truly lucky if we find our true love,
And must treasure them… through thick and thin!
A beautiful gift that lasts a lifetime,
Is the perfect way to convey those feelings within.

The Gus is casual, yet elegantly refined,
    Hence it would suit my husband to a ‘t’;
And as a bonus it would serve as a subtle hint,
Of how dearly I would love an Audrey :).

  78. I would love the "Gus" for my husband. It is simple, yet gorgeous and would look even more handsome on him! The ring is perfect to put our kiddies names on to symbolise his never-ending love for them.

  79. I absolutely adore the Gus cuff from the new hide collection, it's such a statement piece. It looks exactly like something the divine Keith Urban would wear and considering my husband is a bit of a Keith Urban wannabe, this piece would be perfect for him! And when my husband finally wins a golden guitar (in his dreams!), the William cuff links would be the perfect accessory!

Your designs are gorgeous ladies. I am the proud owner of an Audrey pendant myself, it means so much to me and I wear it with pride everyday.

Thanks for running a great comp and keep up the good work! My email is:

  80. I would choose a Gus for my Dad as it is simple yet stylish and what it would stand for is what he would love! My father has been battling cancer that has spread everywhere, he says it is us that keeps him going! So I would love for him to look at it and see our names on it and know that we are always with him!
